Shopify inventory forecasting you can check
Fillova forecasts demand from your Shopify sales and turns it into a clear decision: what to reorder, when and how many, with the reasoning shown so you can trust the number before you spend money on it.

A forecast that ends in an order, not a chart
Most forecasting tools give you a graph and leave the buying decision to you. Fillova goes one step further. It uses the forecast to tell you which products need ordering now, how many to order and why.
The forecast
How Fillova forecasts demand
Recent sales, weighted to the trend
Fillova looks at the last 30 days of sales for each product and gives extra weight to the most recent 7. If something has started selling faster, the forecast responds; one slow or busy week doesn't take over.
One-off spikes handled
A single unusually big order or a one-day rush is handled so it doesn't inflate your next order.
Per variant, from your own Shopify orders
The forecast is worked out for every variant (each size, colour or flavour with its own stock) from the orders Fillova imports from your store. There's nothing to upload and no spreadsheet to keep up to date.
From forecast to order
From forecast to order quantity
A forecast on its own doesn't tell you what to buy. Fillova combines it with:
- your supplier's lead time: how long new stock takes to arrive (set per supplier and overridable per variant)
- your safety buffer: extra days of cover for deliveries that run late or weeks that sell faster (4 days unless you change it)
- stock on hand and stock on order: so you don't buy what's already on its way
A product selling about 5 a day, with a 14-day lead time and a 4-day buffer, needs about 90 units to last until a new delivery lands. If you have 50 in stock and none on order, it's time to reorder. Fillova then works out how many to order and shows the working.

Control
You stay in control
- Change the safety buffer, and set lead times for each supplier or individual variant.
- Every recommendation shows the sales rate, lead time, buffer and stock on order behind it.
- Fillova recommends; you decide what to order.
Limits
What the forecast doesn't do
Fillova's forecast is built on recent sales. It doesn't predict seasonal peaks or promotions you haven't sold through yet, so if you're planning a sale or heading into a busy season, adjust the order yourself.

FAQ
Forecasting questions
How does Fillova forecast demand?
From your recent Shopify sales: a 30-day baseline with extra weight on the most recent 7 days, with one-off spikes handled. It then applies your lead time, safety buffer and stock on order to recommend what to reorder.
Is the forecast accurate?
No forecast is perfect. Fillova shows every input behind a recommendation, so you can see why it suggests a number and adjust it if you know something it doesn't, such as a planned promotion.
Does it handle seasonality?
Not today. The forecast reflects recent sales, so plan seasonal peaks yourself.
What data does Fillova use?
Your Shopify products, variants, stock levels, locations and order history, plus the suppliers, lead times and buffer you set.
Does Fillova use AI?
Fillova uses a clear calculation and shows its reasoning for every recommendation, so you can check any number yourself.
